Is Angel an Alien or a Human ?

Many times Angel refers to other characters as "humans", and implies that she is not. So what is she ?

Angel claims she comes from Ganymede, and from what we can see from her ending this seems to be true.

"Back off, human. This fight is inconsequential." -Angel to Jean-Paul

"We will not be denied! The rebellion is at hand!" -Angel to Kreissack

In short summary: Angel is from Ganymede, wich is curently unoccopied by known human civilizations. There is aperantly some sort of civilization there from before. These people seems to consider themselves something different than humans. However there is nothing to verify this.

Main developer Rob Elam once mentioned on the forums that Angel was of an offshot of humans, that have spendt quite a few years living on Ganymede already. But alas, he didn't explain any further.

All in all, we don't know. but Angel does seem to be some sort of weird Offshot of human.
