Who won the tournament in 2097 ?

Well everyone have probably thought about who really did win the 2097 tournaments, especially since there is a sort of 'follow up' game and all that. So i thought i would put together some facts here and try reaching a conclussion.


  Motivation for winning the tournament:

Crystal: Finding out who killed parents and avenge them.

Steffan: Selfish, arogance. All the qualities of a tyrant.

Milano: Want to reclaim family company.

Christian: Revenge over WAR for killing your parents.

Shirro: Money, Fame, making HAR fighting a full time sport.

Jean Paul: Overthrow WAR,

Ibrahim: More interested in the HAR's than WAR's politics.

Angel: remove humans from Ganymede, she cares nothing for WAR.

Cossette: Respect, prooving that her handicap can be overcome.

Raven: power, greed. perfect example of brute and tyrant.


  So what did actually happen ?

Mayor Hans Kreissack got killed, someone was put as leader of Ganymede. And after that every ending is different, and as such cant be used for any clarifications. So we will have to look at the Tournament play for more info.

The Tournament Play is set to the year of 2099, after the success of the competition in 2097. The tournament play does not offer much information, but some things can be drawn from the tournaments.

First of all, all the characters from 1player is still in tournament play, nine of them is even in the first tournament, and Angel is hidden character in some of the other tournaments.

Save that none of the quotes mention anything at all about winning or loosing, the closest is Shirro's comment about not signing autographs.

The company of W.A.R. still exists. that rules out some of the characters plans, but could also be that they havent gotten their plans through yet. Milano wanted to change WAR into ART, as well as Jean-pauls interest in overthrowing WAR completelly.

There is no mentioning Ganymede anywhere, so no clues there either.

The fact that the tournaments exist at all, sounds very much like what Shirro planed for.

The Nova exist again, wich sounds alot like Ibrahims plans.

The Nova works like a common HAR, as oposed to what Cossette wanted, this can mean either that she didn't win, or that she was unable to figure out how to make the technique Kreissack sued to lock a human brain inside a HAR worled. uncertain if she should get a minus point or not, but i'll give her one anyways.

None of the other characters can be confirmed or opposed.


  Summary

Ibrahim and Shirro gets a point each, Jean-paul, Cossette and Milano gets a minus point. The rest doesnt get anything.

Some of the planns could have been done even without winning the 1player, notably Shiro and Ibrahim's plans. but also Crystal, Christian and Cossette (somewhat). Depending slightlly on who actualy did win.

This game is so open ended, great way to do it. But I would say that either Shiro or Ibrahim won. Or even more likelly, one of them won, and they teamed up so that both could do what they love the most.
