Fiasco

In case you haven't heard about it, it's kind of a mix between a roleplay, a rng movie script, and part common story telling.

And, it is pretty much built into it that, well you're fucked.

Essentially, our first game was in the wild west. Max was a local crime lord of german decent owning a saloon, and wanting to get rich(er), I was his cousin a half german/native indian x army, that ran away with a howitzer and a casket of gold and needed to liquidate it and get out. Marius was Max's underling/toady and wanted to kill him for stealing his wife (wendy and then sell her into prostitution in the saloon) after he (marius) had had a one night stand with a gay swede. Which was played by Ot whom also had (in a drunken stupor) had sex with my character, and was using that to try to buy the howitzer cheaper, so he could give it to Marius' character so he could use it to blow up Max character (my cousin)

It went pretty crazy

But just to give a taste for how that played out

Second game actually in many ways worked a lot better and simpler, 1936 usa. I was a secretary for a judge that wanted revenge against him and release all his dirty secrets, bribes and crimes and hired some muscle to help me with that. The muscle was Marius character an veteran from ww1 redneck that just wanted some easy cash, and his buddy another veteran soldier (max) that regretted this “shady deals” and thought I was a criminal so he went to the laws trying to get Marius' character out of this and mine framed. While Ot played a state atourney that pretty much was Max's contact for ratting on the rest of us, and also knew the judge I used to work for (and he also made hima german nazi spy)

It was pretty entertaining, but a good bit draining. And it's kind of “on rails”, everyone can affect the outcome of what you do at any given time.

in each phase (of 2) you have to “initiate” one encounter, or “finish” an encounter, one of each before the phase ends.

If you initiate one, you setup the situation, but the others gives you a Good or Bad outcome

If you decide to finish one, the other players comes up with the situation/scenario, but you get to choose either a good or bad outcome.

you need to do one of each, in each of 2 phases
